Professional Affiliations

Uroplasty is active in forming relationships with professional organizations in the healthcare universe who work to promote understanding of and optimal care for incontinence. Uroplasty’s sponsorships and memberships include the following:

Sponsorships

National Association for Continence
National Association For Continence (NAFC)  is a national, private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with incontinence. NAFC's purpose is to be the leading source for public education and advocacy about the causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatments, and management alternatives for incontinence. As a member of the Industry Council, Uroplasty, along with other healthcare companies, works with the NAFC to accomplish organizational goals.

Interstitial Cystitis Association
The Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA) was founded in 1984 to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information in interstitial cystitis (IC). One of its primary functions is to offer support to IC patients, their families and friends and to educate the medical community and the public about IC.

American Urogynecologic Society
The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), founded in 1979, is the premier society dedicated to research and education in urogynecology, and the detection, prevention and treatment of female lower urinary tract disorders and pelvic floor disorders.

Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates
The Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) is a national, non-profit professional membership association with over 3,000 members. SUNA establishes the scope and standards of urologic nursing practice. SUNA provides scholarships, grants and awards to deserving nurses and other health care professionals.

A Member of LifeScience Alley

LifeScience Alley is a non-profit trade association serving the life sciences in Minnesota and the surrounding region. Its mission: enabling business success in the life sciences through leadership, collaboration, innovation, advocacy, and education.

 


Provides peer-to-peer training, education, and resources which allow Minnesota-based member manufacturers to continuously grow, improve, and stay competitive.
