Insurance Information for Uroplasty products

Uroplasty, Inc. products include the Urgent® PC Neuromodulation System for the treatment of urinary urgency, urinary frequency and urge incontinence; and Macroplastique® Implants for the treatment of adult female stress urinary incontinence.

The Urgent PC System is a simple, non-surgical treatment that is low-risk and associated with minimal side effects. A series of twelve, weekly 30-minute treatments is conducted with ongoing therapy determined, as necessary for patients.  The majority of patients respond to therapy with reduced frequency and urgency of their bathroom trips and incontinence episodes. Macroplastique is an injectable soft-tissue bulking agent used to treat a specific type of stress urinary incontinence. Treatment with Macroplastique can be performed in an outpatient procedure in about 30 minutes. For more specific benefits and risks, visit the Macroplastique page.

Many health plans and insurance companies, referred to as payers, cover most of the cost of incontinence treatments. It is highly recommended that your doctor contact your payer to get approval before the procedure is performed. This process is called prior authorization.
